We have free internet access

We have to mention that we are 300m away from the Singapore-Malaysia bus terminal at Lavender Street. We understand that many people will transit to Malaysia through Singapore and this bus terminal comes in really handy. Many people say we have the best location when it comes to being near the bus terminal.

We have CEREALS for breakfast on top of the free toasts we have been providing since day one. Which hostel offers FREE FLOW of cereals for breakfast? Hmmm...

What's more, there's coffee and tea free of charge

Among the decent hostels in Singapore, our dorm beds and room rates are one of the lowest. Don't trust us. Do some research. Guess what?? WE JUST LOWERED OUR DORM PRICES till the END OF AUGUST!!!!! We just want to do our bit to help in these bad times

We are growing and it's all thanks to our past guests. With their support and recommendations, we managed to expand. Now the expansion's all about you, our potential guest. We are still providing the same high service standards at very competitive prices.

As we all know the economy is not doing very well these days. Why not opt for cheaper accommodations rather than staying in a hotel?

We have a more welcoming atmosphere, communal lounge great for interaction, cable channels offering The Premier League, Champions League, F1, tennis - something the hotels are lacking.

Surely the next best alternative to hotels???

When you are traveling for months on a stretch, it certainly helps when you can save a few dollars here and there. We believe The Hive can give you good value for less money.

Welcome to The Hive Backpackers' Hostel! The Hive Backpackers' Hostel aims to provide our customers with a different traveling experience. Sleeping is part and parcel of traveling. By providing a nice place to rest, relax and recuperate, we hope our customers would thus enjoy their stay in Singapore.

The Hive is built within a wartime shophouse. This shophouse has been reconditioned to ensure that it is safe.

Because we always have our guests' satisfaction in mind, our loft beds are fitted with foldable guest beds below so no amount of shaking on the upper deck is going to disturb the person below. Knocking your head due to the low height of the typical double decked bed is a thing of the past.

We are so near the local train station, which shares the train line with the other tourist attractions, there's easy access to everywhere.

Chinatown, Little India, Bugis, Orchard Road, Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, Sentosa, and many more. We can't further emphasize on the convenience.

We have acted on some of the feedbacks we received. We installed new windows to reduce the noise level some guests have brought to our attention. We are in the midst of other improvements. New mattresses are brought in batches and it is really comfortable. We will keep you updated. This is our way of saying we value your opinions.

There's a lot more interesting happenings in Singapore. We will try our best to make your stay in Singapore and The Hive a pleasant one.
