We arrived at the property to find owner had left town and had a caretaker in. He was very nice and offered to make up our room as he had expected us the next day. But due to location on the river next to a power station which was noisy, presence of an extremely large dog and the distance out of town we decided not to stay.

Reka Hisa is a riverside house nestling beside the Bohinska Sava River with beautiful clear crystal waters and stunning views of the Jullian Alps.
It is a house for all seasons. All rooms are en suite with spendid views down the river with balcony or patio area.
Reka Hisa is both relaxing and has an informal atmosphere. It offers a high standard of accommodation.
Meals times are a special event with everyone sitting around the table chatting about the days adventures or anything under the sun. Fantastic meals are made with local farm produce and fish from the Bohinska sava and an abundance of local game. Vegetarian and special dietary needs will be gladly catered for.
We are located between lakes Bled and Bohinj on the edge of the Triglav national park the jewel of Slovenia. The Triglav mountain is the highest in Slovenia. There is so much to do; superb Skiing, Snowboarding in the winter and in the spring and summer we have kayaking, Hiking,Fishing, White Water Rafting, Swimming and Golf. Or simply enjoy sightseeing or relaxing!

We arrived at the property to find owner had left town and had a caretaker in. He was very nice and offered to make up our room as he had expected us the next day. But due to location on the river next to a power station which was noisy, presence of an extremely large dog and the distance out of town we decided not to stay.
Even though we had booked the Reka Hisa on 23/04/09 for a two day confirmed stay in July, we were informed on the day of arrival we had been transferred to another bed & breakfast. Owner stated he had sent an email, but unfortunately for us we had already left for overseas. He stated the dates had been double booked, but I found this hard to believe when you have a confirmed booking three months earlier. I am of the belief he does not like short term bookings even though you are willing to pay the surcharge and he will dump you when he receives a longer term booking. Beware.
The bed & breakfast we were transferred to was very good but it was much further from Bled than we had planned and were reliant on the owner to drive us down the mountain each day.
