The least they could do is make sure all lightbulbs & clocks are working, right?? Multiple light switches, clocks, fans, faucets not working &/or in disrepair. How much & how hard would it be to buy light bulbs or batteries?

About H2ohostel
H2ohostel is set in a green and quiet part of old part of town Ljubljana.
The river Ljubljanica is passing by our hostel and from our windows is a beautiful view on Ljubljana's castle.
It`s leisurely 3 minutes walk from H2Ostel to the tree bridges (they are in the town centre). You will walk through the old part of town centre past many pubs and restaurants along the Ljubljanica river.
In this 3 minutes you will see the best architecture of our great architect Jozef Plecnik.
Nearby the hostel is a post office, bank, supermaket, many different shops and the market place.
H2ohostel is in new built house. We can offer you nice, totally new decorated non-smoking rooms. In each room comfortable beds, wardrobes and tables.
In common room you can relax and watch TV (DVD) or you can use the computers and internet connection for free. And if you have your own computer you can use the wirelles internet in every room.
PLEASE NOTE: Our reception works from 8 A.M. to 11 P.M. We can arrange check-in also during the night. In this case
you should inform us (email, phone) or ring a bell (when you reach the hostel).
CHECK - IN is from 15:00 pm
CHECK - OUT is before 10:00 am
You can also use the kitchen (24/7) to warm things up or to prepaire the meel on you own.
Tourist tax (1,01 eur per person per night) is not included in price.
Pets are not allowed in the hostel.
Rent - a public transfer URBANA card for free.
IN THE SUMMER OUR CUSTOMERS CAN ALSO RENT BICYCLES FOR ONLY 5 eur PER DAY.
Cancelations are accepted only 24 hours before check - in (guest arrival to the hostel) with no charge.

A great hostel in a great location in Ljubljana. Rooms were large and clean with ensuite bathrooms. The room was basically empty when I stayed there, and I only had 2 other roommates despite it being an 8 bed room. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a common room with TV/DVD and 2 computers with internet access. The location is great -- along the banks of the river and an easy walk to downtown and the market along the pedestrian path. The hostel is right near the Dragon Bridge and within view of Castle Hill. It is a little tricky to find so follow directions given by the hostel. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again.

The location is great but the room seemed not finished - it smelled like paint, the boxes and the tools for the windows were still there, i think they still needed time before they lodge people.
