Log-Cabin: This is special our log-cabin is set in the thorn tree garden and provides accommodation for up to four sharing. Consists of dble room, twin loft room, open plan seating/dining/kitchenette. Opens onto wooden deck overlooking expansive view.
Rondavel: Tucked away on our hillside is this cozy, sunny, private room with views, twin bedded ensuite with great ambience, adjacent to open-plan kitchenette.
Guest Room: This is a comfy snug room for two. Twin beds, seperate entrance and en-suite with shower.
Family Room: opens onto spacious garden setting with view, set-up to cater for families twin beds with dble bunk and en-suite, adjacent to open self-cater kitchenette, great place to unwind.
Other facilities include braai equipment, basic self-catering facilities, off-street parking, pool, scenic walks, baby-sitting, television, private entrance, heaters and fans in the rooms.
We offer warm Eastern Cape hospitality in a tranquil country garden setting in the heart of Frontier Country, just 2km's off the N2 along Route 67 heading to Port Alfred.
Attractions within easy reach include: Rhodes University, 1820 National Monument, Fort Selwyn, Albany History Museum, NELM, Egazeni. Accessibility to main centre of Grahamstown but with advantages of a tranquil country garden setting.
Located roughly halfway between the Garden Route and Kwa-Zulu Natal, 2km's off N2 on the R67 to Port Alfred. (see map)
Thomas Baines Nature Reserve, Great Fish River Reserves as well as Kenton-on-Sea and Port Alfred are nearby making for easy morning or day trips.

Conditions
Check-in and departure times
Guests are requested to check-in between 2:00pm and 6:00pm. Guests are welcome to check in earlier, but we cannot guarantee rooms will be ready before 2:00pm. Later check-in is not a problem, but guests must please advise us so that necessary arrangements can be made. No check-ins will be accepted after 10:00pm. Check-out is before 10:30am on day of departure. However, luggage may be left with us after check-out and collected later in the day.
General conditions of stay

Guests attend this establishment at their own risk.
A Stone's Throw B&B requests that children between the ages of 1&7 years are not permitted to swim without a parent or guardian present. Guests / residents must ensure that no visitor children are admitted to the guest area unless they are able to swim.
Vehicles are parked in the parking area or in the road at owner's risk. The proprietor, it's agent/s and / or its employees ('the proprietor') shall not be liable for, and the guest/s waive/s and abandon/s any claims of whatever nature including but not limited to that for theft, injury, loss or damage of whatever nature, against the Proprietor, whether arising from the Proprietor's default, negligence or otherwise. Guests in addition to the aforesaid, hereby indemnify the Proprietor against any claims which may arise from whatever nature, whether arising from the proprietor's default, negligence or otherwise.

Directions
We are 2km's off the N2 off ramp outside Grahamstown, 4km's from city centre, turn onto the Route 67, Port Alfred Road, travel towards Port Alfred, 2km's along you get the small suburb of Stone's Hill and A Stone's Throw is situated here, second driveway on the right hand side, Green and White sign will point you in the right direction.
