Close to the airport if you are on a quick overlay and good thing they offer free pick-up and drop-off. Other than that it is probably one of the most expensive properties in South Africa for dorm-rooms. This shoud cost between 70-90 ZAR, not 150! Unfriendly staff, slow internet connection (only one computer), and no possibilities for photo uploading, file sharing etc via usb. The computer doesn't have it. Breakfast not included and dirty, small bathrooms. Enjoy your stay!

About Emerald Guesthouse

Breakfast Included

Set amongst beautiful grounds and only 3 kilometres from Johannesburg International Airport, the Emerald Guesthouse offers lodge style, self catering, bed and breakfast, full board and long-stay accommodation.

Due to its proximity to the airport the guesthouse is very popular with overnight and transit passengers and free airport transfers are available to all guests.

All rooms are en suite and have a remote control TV. They all open on to a patio that leads to a lovely garden and swimming pool. At the on site restaurant, delicious food is prepared for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The hosts of the Emerald Guesthouse would be happy to suggest sights to see in the surrounding area, as well as organising tours and rental cars.
