However, ONLY ONCE did I meet somebody there, and I NEVER had to wait for a shower or for anything else.

Golden Pond Guesthouse started in 2006 with a newly renovated main wing that opened May 2009. There are single rooms, doubles, 4 bed and 6 bed dormitories. A women's dorm is also available. We offer a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with many amenities including:

Room was like in 3* hotels, except for the shared bathroom .
However, ONLY ONCE did I meet somebody there, and I NEVER had to wait for a shower or for anything else.The manager was VERY friendly, helped me with any matters at any time, and it was very pleasant to talk with her. She speaks very good English, which is rare in Korea. Other staff speaks English, too.
Located maybe 300 meters away from a subway station and from a nightlife/entertainment area. Yet, the place itself is VERY quiet. They have a convenience store and an ATM maybe 100 meters away.
10 minutes on foot from palaces, banks (maybe there are some banks even closer).
