Good value for money!!

Excellent location - 2mins walk from Dongdaemun Stadium tube station (where you can get Lines 2, 4 & 5) and Dongdaemun market. Many restaurants, shopping malls etc within 3mins of the place - and most places are open till 4.30am. Ask at reception about the Foot Shop (3mins walk) where you can get a massage and/or a foot rub after a long day sightseeing/shopping.

Ulji-Ro CO-OP Residence is located in the heart of downtown Seoul. We are situated right next to Dongdaemun, a very popular tourist destination for its phenomenal shopping, food and aesthetics. Subway lines #2, #4, #5 are easily accessible from Dongdaemun Stadium Subway Station.

We offer 3 types of rooms -Single, Double and Twin. Each studio includes bed, desk, dining table, closet, cabinet and shoe storage for furniture; fridge, air-conditioner, ceramic stove, hood for kitchen appliances and cyber system (including 15 inch Flat Screen Monitor and TV for an integrated internet system).

A restaurant 'Nina's' is located next to the Front Desk on 1st Floor. Nina's serves tea, wine and soft drinks, a wide selection at comfortable prices. There is a Laundry room(equipped with laundry machine and dryer) and a Fitness center for light workouts in B1.

Good value for money!!

Excellent location - 2mins walk from Dongdaemun Stadium tube station (where you can get Lines 2, 4 & 5) and Dongdaemun market. Many restaurants, shopping malls etc within 3mins of the place - and most places are open till 4.30am. Ask at reception about the Foot Shop (3mins walk) where you can get a massage and/or a foot rub after a long day sightseeing/shopping.

Facilities were good - 24hour free internet, 24hour reception (for safety etc), the place was clean. Studio good sized for one person with TV, electric burner, microwave, fridge and serviced daily so you come back to fresh towels and sheets :) The bathroom/toilet took a little getting used to though as it was on the small side.

Customer service depended largely on the person behind the counter. One or two were great - helpful, friendly and know their stuff. Others just waffled on without being much help or just seem to be permanently having a bad day. Agree some customer service training needed.

Also, if you're there and the guys are still working on the road in front of the Residence, ask for a room higher up or facing the other side as the men work at night (all night till the wee hours of the morning) and those not into noise whilst you sleep would be find it very difficult to get some shut eye with all the drilling etc.

Pleasantly surprised with the place. Would definitely recommend giving this place a go.

Uljiro Coop Residence was a nice place to stay...Very easy to find and I liked how it's right by Dongdaemun Stadium Station (which connects to many different subway lines). Food/restaurants/convenience store are minutes away in walking distance. Each room comes with a a small kitchen (utensils, mini fridge, stovetop, pot+pan). Coin operated laundry in the basement. Cleaning service every morning. The residence also has elevators which is quite handy for lots of luggage. The rooms are quite small though... hardly any room to walk around if you get twin beds in one room. And there was this weird furry/fuzzy stuff on the ceiling in of our rooms...

The location of this residence is great, but their service over the phone is not. I personally had a difficult time trying to change my reservations dates with Uljiro Coop Residence on the phone before heading to Korea. In total I changed my reservation checkin time twice. In the couple of times I phoned them about a change, they either said: they can't do reservation changes, go online and change it through the place you booked it, or it's a sunday and they can't do anything. They really made a small/simple request so tedious. They transferred my call to at least 2 to 3 people because they couldn't understand me, or I wouldn't stop asking for them to change it because I can't change it on travellerspoint. They finally said they could do it after a half hour, (they obviously can...why can't they???), poor customer service in my opinion.

This is good value for money. Definitely my first choice always. Great location and very clean. Staff is flexible and helpful.

The only negative point is the TV, too small. :P

room is very small and wl not allow for air condition in the room for spring season but
receiptionist is helpful
