this is a wonderful traditional guest house with a real "at home" ambience. Ray and Terry are perfect hosts with nothing being too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely with plenty to go at and lots of choice - eggs made to order and crumpets baked fresh. garden was lovely to sit in and relax.

About El Azul Guesthouse
El Azul guesthouse is a licensed 2 star family run B&B in Alora, we are close to El Chorro & Ardales lakes. Just 35 km, or 35 min by train, from Malaga.
All our rooms have private en-suite facilitieswith towels and tea & coffee in every room. Breakfast is included in the price of your stay.
We are open all year, with a guests bar, & plunge pool. Towels are provided.
Alora is 35 km from Malaga & the coast, easily accessible by road or train, the train stops opposite. Close to the town with its ancient castle, shops, resturants & bars. We have ample private parking & a bike shed.

this is a wonderful traditional guest house with a real "at home" ambience. Ray and Terry are perfect hosts with nothing being too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely with plenty to go at and lots of choice - eggs made to order and crumpets baked fresh. garden was lovely to sit in and relax. bedroom was a bit basic - not plush enough for a "pampered" stay but perfectly comfortable enough for our 3 days. very clean and tidy. I would certainly recommend to anyone. From the train station, a cockstride. If coming by car you do need a good map or ring first for directions. a bit out of the town itself and you would need either a car or the bus as town is uphill! For us OK as we were with friends with transport.
