The best apartments I have ever stayed in. Spacious (!!!) and clean rooms, comfortable king size beds, nice design, all furniture new. I have been here twice so far and always felt very welcome and just like at home. The location absolutely the best, nice bars in the near, la Rambla and Port Vell just few steps away. Wifi in the rooms worked perfectly.
Also the service is incredible, no complaints about it. They could solve any problem or request I had.

About Apartments in Barcelona Ample
All 12 apartments are right in the centre of the city, 200 meters from Las Ramblas and the sea.
This building is in the gothic quarter of Barcelona, where most of Barcelona's tourist attractions are, such as the Cathedral, Las Ramblas, Picasso Museum, etc.
The building was refurbished and opened doors on 2007, tastefully decorated and in a charming environment which will make a great stay.
There are 2 different type of apartments:
Studios: 20m2 with one window to the interior and capacity for maximum 2 persons
Suites: 30m2 with big windows to the street with capacity for maximum 3 persons adding an extra bed.
All studios are fully equipped with:
Double or twin beds.
Plasma TV
Satellite Channels
Fully equipped kitchen (kettle, toaster, microwave and utensils)
Fridge
Marble toilet with shower
Hot and Cold air conditioning system
Free WI-FI internet access (need laptop)

Also the service is incredible, no complaints about it. They could solve any problem or request I had. I will definately recommend these apartments to everybody who is tired with noisy and tight hostels rooms, and would like to have a good rest at the end of a busy day (or night
in Barcelona. 5 stars quality and still good price. Will definately go back there in the future.

Check in time at the apartments is from 15:00h to 24:00h. There is a charge of 27 euros on arrivals between 24:00 and 8:00a.m
There is a deposit charge on arrival of 50, which is handed back on departure after the apartment is checked.
*Cancellation Policy
Cancellations can only be made by email and 3 days in advance.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

CALLE AMPLE starts in Las Ramblas as De Josep Anselm Clavé Street and change the name a few blocks later, it finishes almost in Via Laietana. (see map)
The closest metro station is JAUME I ( L-4 Yellow Line) which is about 5 minutes away from the apartments. (see map)

From JAUME I metro station you will have to walk down AVENIDA LAIETANA until you get to CARRER D'ÀNGEL J. BAIXERAS where you turn right, walk 1 block and turn left in CARRER DE LA FUSTERIA and first right again you will find CARRER AMPLE.
Guests arriving at PRAT airport (Barcelona international airport)
To get to the apartments by taxi costs around 25, but the cheapest options are getting the train or the AEROBUS (blues bus and blue bus stop outside the terminal) that goes from the airport to the centre, you must stop in PLAZA CATALUNYA. Once there, follow the map down to Las Ramblas or take the green line of the metro to Drassanes station (only 2 stops from Plaza Catalunya). If you take the train in the airport, you stop in Sants station and take the green line of the metro and go to Drassanes station which is only 5 minutes from the apartment.
Guests arriving at GIRONA airport
This airport is 90km away from Barcelona and there are buses for every flight that lands.
