Great hostel! It is quite large and does feel a little institutional, but rooms were very modern and roomy. Large bathrooms are located in the hall and were very clean. Staff was professional and helpful. There is a large common room where breakfast is served, as well as computers with pay internet access. The location was great -- on the corner facing the "block of discord" and a short walk to Las Ramblas and the historic part of town.

The Passeig the Gracia was designed from the beginning to be Barcelona's Grand Avenue, and is also home to Gaudí's most accomplished work and one of Modernism's best examples, the Pedrera or Casa Mila. Today the Passeig de Gracia is an eminently commercial avenue, in the style of the great European boulevards. There is no better way to get to know the essence of Barcelona than to take a relaxed stroll along the Passeig de Gracia.
We offer:
- From singles and doubles to 12 bed dorms
- Free broadband internet acces
- Free breakfast with coffee, tea, milk, juices, cereals, fruit, toasts, etc.,
- Booking point of walking tours, excursions, etc.
- Huge bar and common room, where you can meet tons of people
Close to the Centric Point you'll find:
- The famous Las Ramblas (5 minutes walking)
- The Gaudi's Casa Batllo (50 metres)
- The modernist Casa Amatller (45 metres)
- Catalunya square (3 minutes walking)
- The Gaudi's La Pedrera (5 minutes walking)
- The modernist Casa Lleo Morera (5 metres)
- The best shops in the city.
- Etc.
Barcelona is a city of charming streets, busy with people and full of life. The old town, comprising the Gothic quarter, the Rivera and Raval districts, is famed for its historical monuments, narrow streets and bohemian atmosphere. The city also has the biggest selection of modernist architecture, most of these buildings are in the Eixample district which constitutes a unique model of European urban planning.
Barcelona is the only European capital with over four kilometres of beaches where you can enjoy the most modern amenities and these beaches are not far from Barcelona's historical landmarks, and they have opened up our modern and cosmopolitan city to the sea.
The Centric Point is one of the Equity Point Hostels.

I would definitely stay here again and recommend it as a great value to other travellers.
Centric Point Barcelona is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. Friendly staff, free and easily available internet access, decent breakfast and clean, well-appointed rooms. My only complaint is that towels and blankets cost extra to hire - I know this is fairly common but it still bugs me, especially in winter! Fabulous location, very easy access to La Rambla, Barri Gotic, Gaudi sites etc. Would definitely recommend.
