this is one of the best hostels ive visited... it was very secure with large lockers for everyone near their beds. We stayed in the largest room with the most beds and it was well maintained and clean.
the bar downstairs didnt have much choice but was lively most nights with plenty of entertainment.
I would definately stay here again when i return to Barcelona as its great value for money also.

Kabul Hostel is the most centrally located hostel in Barcelona!
It is one of the most popular hostels in Europe, offering young travellers a great place to stay whilst visiting Barcelona. It is perfectly located just off 'Las Ramblas', in one of the most beautiful squares in Europe (Plaza Real), close to all of the most popular tourist sites, including of course the beach!
Kabul Backpackers Hostel Barcelona is a member of the association of the best youth hostels in Europe, now known as Europe's Famous Hostels (EFH). These hostels offer the best atmosphere and service at the lowest price.
We have dorms with 4, 8, 10, and 20 beds. We do not have single or double rooms. Clean communal (single sex) bathrooms are located on each floor.
The hostel is located downtown, and is open 24h. That´s right we don´t impose a curfew. And there is no age limit, nor a maximum stay.
IMPORTANT:
If you have multiple bookings please send us an email to info@kabul.es with the different booking reference numbers so we can combine them as one according to availability
If you are arriving after 6pm, please contact the hostel directly by phone or email
When making a reservation please ensure that your Credit Card does not expire before your arrival date. If so, we require you to advise us of the new card details as soon as you have them or the booking won't be guaranteed.

Directions
Kabul is conveniently located in the bottom right hand corner of Plaza Real (Number 17), just off Barcelona's most famous street, La Ramblas.
FROM Sants Estació or Plaza Catalunya, take the metro (L3 green) to the stop, 'Liceu'. From there walk down La Ramblas towards the water and turn left into Plaza Real (the main entrance is just past KFC). From the airport (El Prat), catch the Aerobus or the train. Both modes of transport will bring you to 'Placa Catalunya'. Here you can either transfer to the green line (L3) and continue on the metro to the stop, 'Liceu', or take the short walk down Las Ramblas until you see the palm trees of Plaza Real on your left. FROM Estació del Nord (main bus station), take the metro (L1 red) from 'Arc de Triomf', to 'Catalunya' and follow the instruction above to arrive at the hostel.
