The coolest hostel in BARCELONA CENTER!! Completely reformed in 2009, everything is NEW!!! Mediterranean Youth Hostel is located in the centre of Barcelona next to Plaza Catalunya, Ramblas and Gaudi buildings in a peaceful area.

SECURITY : It's very important for us. We have Security Camaras and Key Card access in all areas as well as Free and Safe Lockers for every guess. If you have any big value thing to keep it safe,please, tell us at arrival and we will take care of it.
All Bathrooms and showers are new, as well as the bunks with drawers and lockers into the dorms. Each bed has its own light and plug for your Mobile, iPod or Laptop.
The Kitchen in completly new and well-equipped . We also have a big lounge room with sofas.
Our hostel is bright and clean . We are ideally located just a few minutes walking distance from the city's most interesting cultural and architectural sights such as the cathedral, Picasso Museum, Las Ramblas, loads of Gaudi architecture and more.
Mediterranean is a new and friendly hostel inspired by our experiences of travelling around the world as backpackers like you!! We hope you'll find a comfortable and sociable atmosphere where you can discover our Catalan culture as you please.
NOTE : THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOSTEL. PEOPLE WHO DISTURB THE OTHERS OR DRUNK PEOPLE WILL BE ASK TO LEAVE THE HOSTEL.
If you are flying with Ryanair we are only 15 minutes away from the bus stop.
HOSTEL INFORMATION:
It is not allowed to smoke (only in terrace) or drinking alcoholic bevareges in all areas.
Cleaning time: double room (from 12:00 till 15:00) and dorms (from 11:00 till 14:00).
Kitchen : From 8 to 22:30
Common areas : From 8 to midnight
Credit cards only accepted for amounts over 150
Cancellations must be notified at least 48 hours before arrival and always by mail.

Directions
If you arrive by train, take the metro in Sants Station Line 5 (blue line) to Verdaguer Station and switch to Line-4 (yellow line) ,one stop is Girona Station which is the stop next to the hostel. DO NOT TAKE THE TRAIN TO GIRONA CITY!!! (It's 1,5 hours from Barcelona!)
If you arrive by plane to Prat Airport (except for Ryanair flights), take the train to Passeig de Gracia stop, switch to metro station and take the Line 4 to Girona station (2 stops).
In Girona street corner Diputació street you will find the hostel at number 335 of Diputació st.
If you arrive by Ryanair, the bus from Girona Airport gets you to Barcelona Estacio del Nord (main bus station). There walk up Passeig Sant Joan st. to Diputació st., turn on the left and look for number 335(10 minutes).
The same way If you arrive by bus (Estacio del Nord).
