Pelayo Studios is very well located, next to bus stop in Plaza Catalunya and underground. We passed a good time in this guest house (a studio with kitchen and private bathroom), a bit narrow for three people but comfortable for two people.
It was clean, the housmaid usually came every day to change our towels, to clean and tidy the bathroom and our room.
However, the kitchen wasn't full equipped, the cooking equipment was barely enough. The microwave didn't work.... more

If your room looks onto the patio, it's very quiet.
The reception was good. They provided us with what was missing.

A friendly and convienient stay.
We had difficulty finding the acccommodation, as not well sign posted. No English spoken and had difficulty getting assistance. Good central location.

Conditions
We always ask for a credit card number with expiry date or a bank transfer of the first night to guarantee the reservation.
We will charge the first night to the credit card number if the arrival time is after 9 p.m. In case of no show or have not cancelled the reservation 48 hours before the arrival date the first night will be charged to the credit card.
Double Rooms at 30 euros per person per night are small ensuites but not the studios with kitchen. These rooms at 32 euros per person are indicated as 'Double shared facilities' due to a system limitation.
The deluxe studios with kitchen start at 38 euros per night per person.
The twin rooms at 29.50 euros per person are small rooms with private bathrooms and are indicated as 'Twin shared facilities' due to a system limitation.

Directions
From the aiport:
By train and underground: take the train from the airport and get off in Sants Estacio. Then take the Line 3 underground (L3, green color) direction to Canyelles and get off in Plaça Catalunya. Find Pelai Street and walk on its right side about 300 metres until Pelayo Studios Guest House.
By bus: Take the Aerobus (blue color) at the airport and get off in Plaça Universitat. Find Pelai Street and Pelayo Studios Guest House on the left side.
By taxi: Take a taxi in the stand at the airport. The price would be around 20-25 euros depending on the traffic and the pieces of luggage.
