STAFF : The staff (a woman) is really VERY impolite and unpleasant. Do not expect any reply to your emails. Absolutely no information on the functioning of the guesthouse. You will see the staff only at your arrival for the chek-in. Beware, the staff tried to charge us more than the amount provided by Hostels.com !

LOCALISATION : Very close to the Sagrada Familia but far from the center, the beach and other tourists attractions.

ROOM : The Twin Private room is small (about 6m²) and the mattress is very uncomfortable. Only one shared bathroom for all guests (7 rooms).

GUESTHOUSE : The guesthouse was quite clean but very noisy during our stay because of the permanent comings and goings of the guests.

SERVICES : We NEVER got the wi-fi codes promised by the staff at our arrival ! The included breakfast boils down to a stale loaf of bread, a pack of UHT milk and some coffee powder for 20 people.

Amazing hostel, you can really feel like home. There is a fully equipped kitchen which can be used all day long with everything you need for breakfast. Sometimes you have to wait a while if you want to take a shower, because there is only one bath room (and an extra toilet) for about 15 guests...
But overall I would absolutely recommend to stay at Sagrada Familia Home.

Very good location, very close to Sagrada Familia, bus lines and underground, local bars and restaurants. The bedroom was very small and the breakfast was very basic but it was cheap. For this price this is what I could expect. Common bathroom was also ok. If you need a bed just to sleep, want to save money on accommodation and you spend the whole day with visiting the sights and nice restaurants, it can be a good choice. May be the lady who greeted me, could have been more friendly.

The location of this guest house is perfect, literally round the corner from the Sagrada Familia and just minutes from the metro stop, shops, cafes and bars.

It has a very friendly atmosphere, with wi-fi, comfy beds, a shared bathroom (with shower and toilet), a toilet, a living room and kitchen. The landlady didn't speak much english, but welcomed us and showed us around.

Breakfast was put out the night before, and was everything you needed. You could also use the fridge and cooker if you wanted to buy food from the supermarket.

We were able to leave our bags there and collect the main door keys when we arrived in the morning, though check-in (and our room key) were not available until after 2pm.

The accommodation was a little noisy, just with the occasional opening and closing of doors, but the other guests were considerate and you are likely to be too tired from exploring Barcelona to be kept awake anyway!

Overall, this was amazing value and just what we were looking for. Thank you!

Can't really give a review as our booking was cancelled very late the night before we were due to check in. The manager rang us at close to midnight to tell us that they were overbooked and to ask if our group would mind staying at two different properties (several metro stops apart). With no other choice we agreed, only to be rung back 5 minutes later to tell us that that wasn't available either. They offered us no help and no apology whatsoever. Avoid at all cost.
