About Casa Martin
Some people are content to send home postcards. Others would prefer to create their own. At Casa de Martin our wish is to help you experience the beauty of Granada through a lens that is both authentic and unforgettable. Choose our penthouse apartment and take your siesta on the rooftop terrace in the shade. Choose a second floor apartment and have a glass of rioja on the balcony while you listen to the sound of cathedral bells. Open the windows of our ground floor apartments and enjoy the breeze that carries the scent of jasmine. Walk up to the nearby lookout and hear the echoes of flamenco filtered through the dusk.
In our charming and comfortable apartments, located in the ancient Arabic historic district of the Albaycin, you will find everything necessary for one to feel at home. Each of our colorful apartments is equipped with an efficiency kitchen (with a small refrigerator and stovetop) and a private wc. A few steps away you will find shopping, restaurants, nightlife, the Alhambra and Granada's downtown.

We are located on a PEDESTRIAN STREET a short walk from calle elvira and are located on a mild incline. Those carrying an excess of baggage or with physical conditions prohibiting this 50 meter uphill walk should consider this before making a reservation. please contact us with questions.
Please note that as we offer PRIVATE APARTMENTS and ARE NOT A HOSTEL OR HOTEL we are happy to receive you at the hour that you arrive but that reception is by APPOINTMENT ONLY. PLEASE ARRANGE ARRIVAL TIME IN ADVANCE AND ADVISE OF ANY CHANGING PLANS.
Because our CHECK OUT TIME IS 12:00 pm, guests ARRIVING BEFORE 2 pm may be asked to return after their apartment has been cleaned and prepared. in this event you will be welcome to leave your baggage in the house while you explore the city.

Good bus connection to the Alhambra, arab teterias and stores around the corner, and less than 10 minutes on feet to the Cathedral. We did not want to leave, but we had, and would like to be back soon.

A nice place in a nice city! Actually, everything was perfect, the location (in the district of Albacin), the appartement which was decorated with a good taste and very well equiped, the cleaness, and the hospitality!

however you might arrive, WE STRONGLY ADVISE PRINTING A MAP BEFORE ARRIVAL
train- a ten minute walk or any bus heading towards gran via. (see map) the closest stop is in front of hotel palacio santa paula.
parking-head to parking San Augustin, located on the Gran Via and heavily indicated, is the nearest public garage.
bus station- any bus towards gran via in the direction of downtown will take you within two blocks of casa martin. (see map) the closest stop is in front of hotel palacio santa paula.
driving-
-take exit mendez nuñez, follow the road straight. After passing through a tunnel take your first available hard right (capuchinos), follow until you reach the rotunda (plaza de triunfo) and directly ahead you will see the arch of elvira. Go THROUGH the arch and you will find yourself on Calle Elvira. Continue until the intersection of Elvira with Calle Azacayas. from there follow the pedestrian path opposite azacayas to your first right-Cuesta Beteta. Casa Martin reception is at #36 apartment 1-D.
