Breakfast Included
We are not a Youth Hostel, not even a hotel, 'Granada B&B Homestay' is a Bed and Breakfast, a real one, as they used to be, a place where you actually live with your hosts, truly enjoying Spanish hospitality and being always helped by their knowledge of the place and their experience. When compared to a hotel, a bed and breakfast is not better, neither worse, it is just different, it offers a different way of approaching the country and/or the city you are visiting.
We are very proud to host one of the few sites available in Internet providing authentic bed and breakfast accommodation in Granada, and definitely the only one which is right in the center.
All our 4 rooms are private -no dormitories- two of them have en-suite bathroom, while the other two share one common bathroom which is just outside the rooms. The en-suite double room deluxe has two big double beds, this means it will please couples who want to sleep together as well as friends who are looking for separate beds. The standard twin en-suite has bunk beds. Please keep this in mind before booking this room as it might not be suitable for persons with reduced mobility.
All the rooms are very quiet as they don't face the main avenue but a much less busy back street. They all are well ventilated, some with very big windows. All the bathrooms also have their own window.
The view from the Social Room is beautiful. You can admire the oldest Arab walls in Granada and the old Arab neighborhood (Albayzin) and across the street the beautiful gardens and fountains of Triunfo which look gorgeous at night when they lit them.
Our prices include a hearty self-service breakfast, with a choice of tea, coffee, mint or chocolate plus bread, butter and jam, biscuits, yogurt, cheese, orange juice and cereals.
We don't serve meals and we don't have kitchen facilities either. It is not allowed to have, bring or prepare meals in the social room.
We are conveniently located in the center, in a well off and very safe area, in the most beautiful district of Granada, facing the University gardens of Triunfo. Our place is close to, or within walking distance of, the most important sites.
Granada B&B Homestay is also connected by direct buses with each and every part of Granada, including the Airport, the Bus Station and the Conference Center, while the Railway station is just a 10 minute walk from here.

From the Airport:
Buses to and from Granada's airport are scheduled according to flights arrivals and departures. That means there should always be a bus waiting for passengers whenever a flight arrives. The bus from the airport costs 3 Euros and it will almost drop you off at Granada B&B Homestay's front door. Just let the conductor know you want to get off in 'Parque Fuente Nueva'. From there walk 100 metres forward to number 11 on Avenida Constitución. The number is on the upper part of the front door. When you are there ring the bell for apartment 4D.
From the Bus Station:
Local buses number 3, and 33, run frequently (roughly every 10 minutes) to the centre. Get off in 'Parque Fuente Nueva'. From there walk 100 metres forward to number 11 on Avenida Constitución. The number is on the upper part of the front door. When you are there ring the bell for apartment 4D.
From the Railway Station:
Granada's Railway Station is just 500 metres from Granada B&B Homestay. So if you arrive by train you don't actually need to get a taxi or a bus at all. Just go up 'Avenida Andaluces' and turn right into Avenida Constitución. Walk about 400 metres to get to our front door which is at number 11. The number is on the upper part of the front door. When you are there ring the bell for apartment 4D.
By Car (this is a short version of the full instructions to get to our place by car which can be found in our website)
If you are arriving by car, from whatever direction you come from, follow the signs to MOTRIL and/or SIERRA NEVADA. Ignore any sign to Granada east, west, north or whatever. Just wait until you see the signs to Motril and Sierra Nevada. This will drive you directly onto the CIRCUNVALACION (E-902 and A-44 Ring Road). If you are already coming from Motril then follow the signs to Jaen, Madrid, Malaga and or Sevilla. If you are coming from the airport take the first turn off to Granada and Santa Fe thus leaving the A-92 highway and entering the A-92G. Anyway, once you are on the ring road (CIRCUNVALACION E-902 and A-44) mind the numbered junctions and keep going until you see junction 128 to CENTRO - MENDEZ NUÑEZ. Turn off the highway there and you will get into a round-about. If you missed the junction 128 use next exit to change direction and go back to 128. Never use a different junction to get to our place or you will be hopelessly lost
From the roundabout drive up to the centre towards Avenida Constitución. First you will see 'El Corte Ingles' Shopping Centre. Then as you keep going up you will pass a Cepsa Petrol Station (on your right), Einstein Square (on your right) and huge NH Hotel Granada Centre (on your right)
When you pass the NH Hotel Granada keep going up on Avenida Fuente Nueva towards Avenida Constitución. This avenue will change its name into Avenida Severo Ochoa. Shortly before enetering Avenida Constitucion you will see an underground tunnel in the middle of the road. Avoid it! It would take you out of the centre. So, stay on your right leaving the tunnel or your left. You will arrive at Avenida Constitución. Turn right. Our place is 20 meters to the right and you will be able to see our front door next to a Shoe-shop but you cannot park at our front door so keep going 20 more meters and you will see the entrance to the underground car park.
INFO ON STREET NUMBERS IN SPAIN: Note that only buildings have numbers in Spain. Shops and restaurants usually do not as they use the same number of the building. The number is usually displayed on top of the door of the main entrance to the flats. Don't be surprised then if number 11 is not right after number 9 or before number 13 as the shops in between do not have any numbers.
