This is a Trusted Review. Why?
We had very good accommodation - good bedroom and bathroom, excellent living room - spacious, good air conditioning, perfectly cleaned every morning - we were very pleased.
Although we didn't really need them the TV and bedside radio didn't work - perhaps it was us not understanding how they worked.
The staff, especially a young lady who spoke excellent English and was on the evening shift, were very helpful - she gave us places to eat, helped with taxis, and generally looked after us.
The position of the hotel is in the suburbs and away from the central attractions - which may be a blessing to some ( away from the heavy traffic of vehicles and people ) or a disadvantage ( away from the night life ) That is personal. We enjoyed eating and drinking of an evening in places that were for the locals and not on the tourist route.
But the hotel is only a few minutes walk away from the metro - the number 1 line as well - which goes straight to Sol, for the shops and night life, and Atocha, for the galleries and museums - so it wasn't so much of a disadvantage - for us.
We would happily stay there again and recommend it to like minded people.
