Great value for money! As a 'walking city' the hostal is very well placed (two minutes walk from Sol) in a typical Madrid street. Both exterior and interior (looking onto a lovely courtyard) rooms are clean, quiet and orderly. There are several bathrooms placed around the hostal. The highlight though, is the building's magnificent staircase - recently refurbished, it's a real eye opner into the taste and interior designs of the Madileno's! For those not fussed by all the 'mod-cons' and who want a no nonsense, central and very convenient stay in the heart of Spain's beautiful and under-appreciated gem, Hostal Yolanda should satisfy your needs!
