About Hostal Azahara

A bustling nightlife and a beautiful coastline is within walking distance of the welcoming family run Hostal Azahara. Situated in the beautiful town of Nerja on the Costa Del Sol, this comfortable guesthouse is very good value with many guests returning time after time.

The recently renovated, the Hostal Azahara is run by a Spanish and English family and is open all year round. All rooms are ensuite and have a TV, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is also available each day. Some rooms have terraces and balconies. We have family rooms available and cots can be hired from reception. Long stays are most welcome.

There is a bar with Satellite Television and free Internet facility all set in a distinctly Andalusian style courtyard.

Nerja is a great place to visit all year round. We have local recommended contacts for Guided Tours, Horse Riding, Diving, Local Walks and Golf with information available for all these activities.

Cancellation policy: 72 hs before arrival, otherwise 1 night will be charged.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

If you are looking for budget accommodation without having to stay in a dorm, this is one of the best deals in Nerja. Also if you arrive with alot of luggage that is not on wheels, being right beside the bus stop, Hostal Azahara is a good option as you only have to walk a few steps, check in, dump your bags and take a 10 minute stroll down to the beaches and restaraunts.
Having breakfast included (despite only being tea, toast and pastries) is an extra bonus if you are travelling on a budget. The internet is also free but not available during siesta.
As a budget option i would have no complaints about this place apart from the fact that the owner has a very loud voice and almost all of the rooms face in to the courtyard off which are his living quarters so if he is in the building....you will definately know about it! Some days he seemed a bit grumpy but underneath it he is just a teddy bear....like the rest of us!
