We expected to arrive at a hostel for 20 euro per person at such a central location but were delighted when we were shown our room and it was more like a 2* hotel room than a 1* guesthouse. The place smelt lovely and the rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day.
To be honest, when we arrived at the place first, it was late evening and we thought that the section of San Bartolome was a little run down but after staying there, it was a perfect location and a nice part of town.

About Pension Easo
All our rooms are PRIVATES, no dorms, no bunks, so if you look for comfortable and clean rooms Pensión Easo is your choice.
All rooms have heating, TV and safety box.
There is also (COMPUTER 1hour=1) and (FREE WIFI)
Public parking at the same building, they charged around 18

Pensión Easo is located in San Sebastian downtown, only 2 blocks away from the famous La Concha Beach, and 10 minutes walk along the beach promenade to the Parte Vieja (old town).
We offers single, double, twin and triple rooms with or without private bathroom.

To be honest, when we arrived at the place first, it was late evening and we thought that the section of San Bartolome was a little run down but after staying there, it was a perfect location and a nice part of town. The beach is only a couple of blocks away and the old town is a very short walk. There's a busy Italian restarant on the end of the street with a lovely atmosphere and food.
They had internet and a fridge full of drinks that you could take and leave money for worked on an honesty policy which I thought was a really nice touch.
I would definitely stay here again in a heart beat..such great value.

We had a private room with bathroom. Although a bit small, the room was clean, cosy and the bed was perfect. Bathroom was clean, location a bit far from the old city, but at walking distance (20-30 minutes). Service was perfect, we loved this hostel

Directions
PENSION EASO is located in the heart of San Sebastian city, only 100 meters away from the famous Concha beach.
From the the train station cross the bridge and walk beside the Catedral del Buen Pastor, we are in calle San Bartolomé, when you reach Calle Easo, San Bartolomé street continues slightly to the right. Do not go up the hill. Next block after Palacio de Justicia.
From the bus station take bus 26 or 28 and stop at calle San Martín
From Bilbao airport take the bus to San Sebastian. It will take one hour to arrive in town.
