I stayed at the Cabo Mayor Hostal in Santander from 10 June for 3 nights. It is very conveniently located to the bus station and train station. My room was very clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The Cabo Mayor is good value. The only downside to my visit is that it rained continuously for the whole time I was there! I went on to Bilbao for a few days and it rained there too! So if you are heading to the North of Spain this Summer, bring the raingear.
