Located in the heart of Valencia city centre, in an important street close to the Turia's riverbed (the biggest park in town). Just a few minutes walk from the city´s most interesting cultural and architectural sights (Cathedral, Basilic, Plaza de la Reina, City Council Square, Barrio del Carmen...), well connected to the beach, the train station, the old city, the City of Arts and Sciencies and the best places to go out, from traditional 'tapas' bars to the hippest nightlife.

The location couldn't be better: We are between the commercial area and the bohemian district of 'El Carmen'

The Purple Nest is the best place for backpackers to enjoy Valencia this summer. Don't worry about the heat!! Rooms have Airco that works in the night (from 00.00 til 11.00) We are very close to different(indoor) swimming pools in the city and just a few meters away from the bus stop to the beach, and in our hostel you won't suffer the high temperatures, thanks to our air conditioning system, which make us the most refreshing hostel in Valencia this summer!!

We have dorms with 4, 6, 8 and 10 beds and private rooms of 2, 3 and 4. All our big rooms are dorms: male, female or mixed. Big clean communal (single sex) big bathrooms are located on each floor. All our rooms have air-conditioning to help you sleep well during the hot Valencian summer. Check out time is at 11:00 AM and check-in is anytime after 1:00 PM.

Our hostel has an easy, laidback atmosphere with warm and helpful staff on hand to help steer you to the beaches, bars, sites and sounds of Valencia and get you anything you need including free city maps and info and reservations for walking tours and bike rental.

Our Bar offers you the chance to meet people from all over the world, have a couple of the cheapest pints in town and enjoy the great atmosphere that the Valencian night produces.

In order to avoid problems with illegal immigration: We reserve the right to decline any reservation, which may enable illegal immigrants to enter Spain. Any actions suspected to be illegal will be reported to the Spanish authorities.

General Rules

To preserve and maintain our laid-back atmosphere we do not allow: any bookings of stag nights, hen nights or sport tours, soccer fans for (inter)national matches and large groups of males (6 persons or more) or pets.

You need to show us your valid Passport or National Identification Card upon arrival at the hostel. People not providing the document required will not be able to stay in the hostel.
The following documents are not valid to enter the Hostel: driving licence, photocopies of passports, Student ID cards, library ID etc.

For a group booking we reserve the right to ask for a deposit of 500 euros, which will be refunded upon check-out, and only if the management or Nest Hostel staff consider that no damage has been done to our hostel.

We reserve the right to abandon or cancel reservations if the given information is incorrect or false.

We make every effort to accommodate you in the dormitory size of your choice. However, because of the nature of our business, we may have to place you in a different sized dormitory. As a result the balance to be paid upon arrival can be slightly different to what is stated on your confirmation.

All nights of accommodation must be paid for on arrival.
The Nest Hostels Management and Staff reserve the right to refuse accommodation to anyone or end their stay before the reservation finishes if standards of behaviour are not met, in such cases no money will be refunded to the guests.

Dorm accommodation is available only for student travellers. Guests with children under the age of 10 are requested to book private accommodations.

Anyone above 35 years of age will be required to book private rooms only

People can not share one dorm bed.

Bed linen and blankets are included in the price.

Check-out is no later than 11 a.m. People checking-out after 11 a.m. will be charged a fee of 10 euros.

In case you'll be arriving later than your original arrival time, please let us know as soon as possible so we know when to expect you.

We don't send fax or letters for Visa document applications to consulates.

Reservations made by Travel Agents through this online booking web page will be considered null or void.

FROM THE BUS STATION:
Catch Bus number 8 'Estación Autobuses-Malilla' and get off at Plaza Tetuan. You're 10 meters from our door.

FROM THE TRAIN STATION WALKING:

As you walk out of the station (Estacion del Norte) turn right and follow the street called Xativa. When the street changes the name to Colon keep walking until the Colon underground Station in front of a El Corte Ingles shopping mall. Walk around this shopping mall and you'll find yourself at Plaza Alfonso el Magnanimo. Walk straight ahead through the Park, go on straight and now you are in Plaza Tetuan, here we are at left-hand side in number 5. (15 – 20 mins walk)

FROM THE TRAIN STATION BY UNDERGROUND:
From the train station catch the metro line number 3 or number 5, which will take you to the metro stop called "Alameda". Leave the metro station via the exit marked 'Paseo Ciudadela', take the road Calle Justicia, turn right onto Calle General Palanca and at the end of this road you will find Plaza Tetuan. Purple Nest Hostel is number 5, Plaza Tetuan.

The journey will take you 15 minutes by metro and then 7 minutes on foot.

FROM THE AIRPORT:
The Valencian airport Manises is situated 8.5 km from the city centre. There is an Aerobus service (blue buses) leaving from the 1st floor of the airport. This one takes you to the RENFE train station within 15/20 minutes and costs 2.50 EUR. There´s also a public transport bus service (yellow buses) which takes about 40 minutes to get you to the central bus station and costs 1.10 EUR.
A Taxi to the hostel is about 14-15 EUR, but the price may vary if there's a lot of traffic. From the arrivals area in the airport you can catch the metro line number 3 or number 5, which will take you to the metro stop called Alameda.
