We have just spent a fantastic week end in El Puerto de Santa Maria in Emilios Bar Apartments.
The apartment was 3 minutes walk from the beach and had a fantastic view of the ocean.
The staff were friendly and helped us to plan our trip to Cadiz old town.

About Emilios Bar
We offer a selection of apartments from 1 to 4 bedrooms all within the marina complex of Puerto Sherry which is on the beach 5 minutes drive from the centre of El Puerto de Santa Maria, in Cadiz. All apartments are fully equipped for a self catering holiday with washing machines in all apartments.
Puerto Sherry is a marina complex situated on the Bay of Cadiz, only 5 minutes from the centre of El Puerto de Santa Maria, and 20 minutes drive from Cadiz capital city. It is right on the beach.
We have a large selection of apartments, flats and studios available most within minutes from the beach for an ideal Spanish holiday on the unspoilt Costa de la Luz.
All the apartments are fully equipped for a self catering holiday. All with private bathrooms, from one up to 4 bedrooms,

The Costa de la Luz in Andalusia is still unspoiled by mass European tourist trade but has something for everyone.

For the great outdoors lovers the rural and unspoiled retreats of Grazalema , the Bay of Cadiz and Doñana National Park are also within easy reach.
This is an ideal for a relaxing holiday or indeed an deal base for the more adventurous traveller who wishes to see the real Andalusia.

DIRECTIONS
The nearest train station is El Puerto de Santa Maria, which is a 5 minute drive from the complex, there is no form of transport from the centre of town to the marina a taxi from the station will cost 6 Euros.
From Jerez Airport
Take the shuttle bus to El puerto train station the fare is 2E then take a taxi to the marina.
From SVQ Seville airport
Take the airport shuttle bus to Santa Justa Train station then take the train to Cadiz but get off at El Puerto de Santa Maria, take a taxi from station to the marina.
Trains arrive from Cadiz, Seville, Jerez, Madrid & Barcelona into El Puerto de Santa Maria.

Really we didn't have enough time to see all that was on offer but it is definately worth a visit.
The apartment was clean, had nice kitchen with washing machine which for us was a plus, and sunset views.

we booked an appartment of emilio`s bar for 4-5 persons, it was absolutly terrible. the door lock of the entrance was damaged, so it was unpossible to lock the front door. the stairs were damaged, the balkony as well. in the kitchen the fridge was full of mould, the nuker was dangerous to use, in the bathroom every edge had started to mould. if you tried to open a window, the whole window fell out of the frame. the towels and the bed ticks were old and spindly. the appartement was extremly tight and not worth a cent of the rate the wanted to be paid for (3.400 euro for 17 days!!!) it took us more than 15 min to get to the beach, with a little child a horror because of 40 degrees.
puerto sherry is a normal little town in the south, the beach okay. near emilio`s bar and on the way to our appartment there are a lots of unfinished buildings- scary in the evening, if you have to pass by.
we abandoned our holidays because it wasn`t possible for us to stay in this appartment any longer.
