From 1983 we have been creating memorable holidays for hundreds of satisfied customers and hundreds of repeat customers.We will do our very best to make your stay with us a comfortable one.
All our rooms are updated to current standards. Comfortable mattress, white clean linen, air-condition, all new bathrooms, hot & cold shower.
You can use free wireless internet from your room. Cabel T.V in all rooms. Free breakfast will be served with your room booking. Our restaurant also serves Lunch & Dinner.
Our hotel is very close to the beach, bus stop and train station. We are only 5 km from down town Colombo. If you want to goto Hikkaduwe, Mirissa, Galle or Yala, our hotel is a good stop over point.
Once you book your room and if you want airport pick up please send us a email. We will pick you any time of the day. Even at 2 a.m. Our airport pick up price is US $ 31 for upto 3 people.
We have 2 locations in Mount Lavinia. One on 30, College Avenue, Mount Lavinia and the other on 12, Hotel Road, Mount Lavinia. Depending on the availability you will be staying in one or the other. Please come to # 30 College Av first to Check -In.

Tropic Inn is the perfect place to stay and discover Colombo. Even it is a 30 minutes train ride to downtown it worth it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially thanks to Lashitha who was helping us a lot and made a friendly atmosphere in the hostel. Thank you very much!

The room was clean with basic (and aging) furniture. The hot water did not work in one of the 2 rooms I stayed in (not a problem in hot Sri Lanka). Safe environment where day rooms are not offered. Friendly and prompt service. Good restaurant with reasonable pricing. Better than average breakfast buffet. Real treat if you are looking for Sri Lankan dishes and fresh fruit. Overall great value for the price. Will stay here again. Recommended.

Good breakfast, everything worked 300 yds from the beach across the railwayline 1/2 a mile from the station, 300 yds from the bus stop into Colombo or Galle the other way 1 1/2 miles from the zoo. Helpfull service can do washing. it is not like a european hotel but neither is the price, I will use it again.
