Welcome to visit 'The Pearl of the strait' ,
a guesthouse with sea bathing and sandbeach outside the lovely garden with sunterraces and a nature reserve behind it! Restaurants and beach cafees everywhere, minigolf and beach volley! Yet 100 000-City centre less than a miles walk! Feel like at home in our hotel standard beds where you share toilet and showercabin with only one other room - or book with bathroom ensuite!
There is Sauna on a pier opposite us aswell as busstop. A miles walk to railway/ferries to Denmark and same distance to famous Sofiero Castle, where our King spent his summers as a child, now boasting of one of the lovliest flower gardens in Europe aswell as open air rock concerts.
SPA-services as massage, private use of Steam bath and/or jacuzzi can be booked at a surcharge, we need at least a weeks notice!
Breakfast buffet available at 9 am : SEK 65 pp.
Please note, sleeping bags are not allowed. Bedlinen for rent or bring your own set.
Spare beds used for guests more than 2 in a room.
Non-members of Hostelling International pay an additional 50 SEK/person/night on arrival.

One day before arriving
YOU WILL HAVE TO call to confirm a check in time! Check In is usually possible from 15.00 hrs to 1800 hrs.
Other check in is - if possible - arranged upon request with a surcharge of SEK 100-200.

* Sleeping bags are not allowed! Bring your own or rent.
Rental of bedlinen SEK 100/pp. Beds must be made up immediately after check-in, will be inspected.
* No pets.
* No nicotine within the garden area.
* Please do not spit chewing gum.

Directions
Please let the guest house know your estimated arrival time well in advance. The telephone number is on your confirmation email.
By Car:
- Take the E4 and exit for Helsingborg, North.
- Follow the road for centrum (centre).
- The road ends in a T-junction with the theatre in front of you. Turn right for Sofiero.
- Continue for Drottninggatan, along the coast. The street bends under a railway bridge, and you will see the Pire, pictured above, at the far end. The road is now named Strandvagen.
- Pass the beach restaurant, Palsjo Krog, where the road is named Drottninggatan again, and the bus stop. The guesthouse is 100 yards away (Drottningg 216 A).
Alternatively, take the E4 and exit Helsingborg, South.
- Follow signs for centrum. The road changes it's name to Drottninggatan at the City Hall.
- Continue as above.
From the ferry port:
- Follow signs for centrum and continue onto Drottninggatan.
- Continue as above.
By ferry/train/bus station Knutpunkten
NB! free ride if you show valid train ticket!:
- Cross the street to the bus stop and take the number 219 bus heading north for Domsten.
- After 10 minutes, get off at bus stop 'Dag Hammarsold vag'. (The name will appear digitally on the bus. When it does, press the bell to stop.) This is stop no 8 after you entered the bus.
- Walk 100 yards north towards a big blue sign that says Sundets Parla B&B.
