Braunwald is a carfree holiday resort. Horseriding, hiking, paragliding, biking, climbing, jogging in the Summer. Carving, snowboarding, sledding in the Winter.
Our hostel adrenalin is situated in the centre of Braunwald and has at its heart a philsophy of low budget tourism.
It is designed for the young and the young at heart who take more pleasure in adventure and making new friends than in luxury.
Our backpackers offer includes only bed and breakfast we don't have a self-catering kitchen but our guests can enjoy the variety of Braunwald's restaurants and bars.
We know that you will have a great time during your stay with us, as you experience all the wonders that this area has to offer.

Hourly trains from Zurich Main Station- Ziegelbrücke- Glarus to Linthal 'Braunwaldbahn' with direct transfer to the funicular up to Braunwald (travelling time approx. 90 min.)
By car:
From Zurich or Chur on the motorway A3 to exit Niederurnen. Follow directions to Glarus- Linthal/ 'Braunwaldbahn' (travelling time approx. 70 min.)
In the summer reachable through Central SwitzerlandKlausenpassLinthal 'Braunwaldbahn' by bus, car or mountain bike.
