About Youth Hostel Fribourg

The distinctive structure of the historic Old Town with its steep alleys, with its bridges and fountains quickly charms city visitors and is testimony to a rich and varied history. Artists such as Jean Tinguely, Niki de Saint Phalle and Bernard Luginbühl practised their calling and left their mark here.

Youth Hostel Fribourg is an ideal starting point to discover the wide variety of the city. Next to the old town, university and trainstation, the Youth Hostel is situated in an old, classily refurbished civil hospital from the 17th century.

The long corridors, die low doors and the arched ceiling communicate the very unique atmosphere of this hostel. The gorgeous courtyard invites our guests to play games or just relax.
