Located in the most attractive part of Veliko Tarnovo, The Loft Hostel offers an amazing view of the city’s old town as well as the modern center, and is a 3-minute walk from all of the best bars and clubs in town. The hostel is perfectly situated overlooking the lively main street with vast mountains in the distance, and is filled with character as the entrance is located on a charming cobblestone pedestrian path at the beginning of the old the crafts street, where you can find local artisans working using traditional techniques to produce Bulgarian crafts.
The Loft is set-up perfectly allowing you the opportunity to meet fellow travelers from all over the world. We offer 6 and 8-bed dorm rooms, as well as private double rooms. There is a spacious common room with satellite TV and high-speed internet, as well as a sunny fully-equipped kitchen at your disposal and clean bright bathrooms.
Check out the loft! The large open chill-out space has games and books, and gives you tons of space to hang out and do what you want. People love to get together to cook a meal, drink a beer or two, listen to music and relax. Maybe you are a musician? We have a GUITAR that draw people together to play, sing and dance.

RSSMy wife and I had just arrived in Veliko Tornovo and were searching for the guesthouse where we'd booked accomodations. We stopped for directions outside of The Loft and the owner (?) came out and began trying to convince us to stay at The Loft. We declined politely since we had other accomodations and he continued to badger us, bullying us more aggressively each time we said 'no'. At last he walked away in a huff, and when he had gone only a few paces he turned back to us and called us "Stupid f*cking Americans", simply because we did not want to stay at his place. I would never set foot in the establishment of someone so unneccessarily rude.
