I passed 1 night in the tents. It is ok for 1 or a few nights (after day activities/sports in the region). In addition, there is free spring water from the region. Also, the wifi was working.
To be kept in mind: beds may be a little bit humid in tents; there might not be hot water for the showers; we ear everything (mainly the people in the place since at night, Interlaken is not noisy). But all of this is ok since the place is nice, and I would go there again to stay a few days.

Balmer's is a great place to stay. The Staff were incredibly helpful in every way, from getting you checked in - to helping you figure out places to eat and visit. At first glance Balmer's seems to be catered mainly toward young 20 somethings that are backpacking through Europe, or have come to Interlaken for the skydiving, paragliding etc, but it is not. I stayed there with my Father and my brother. We got a 3 person private room in Balmer's Guest House and it was wonderful. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the view was spectacular. The Guest house rooms share a bathroom and kitchen area with one other Guest House suite. The bathroom was spotless, the shower was great. Other amenities: They provide you with free bus passes to use for your entire stay. The free breakfast is not huge, but is a fine enough start to get you out the door and started with your day. They will exchange currency (US to Swiss Francs) for you with no commission. Towels are provided. Balmer's is located in a beautiful quite part of town, that is easy walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the main street. Also very easy walk to Interlaken West and Ost train stations. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This place is awesome if your around the age of 20 and going to Switzerland you have to go here. I went with 3 kids my age. We all just graduated highschool and had a blast we didn't want to leave. The bar down stairs is the hot spot around town.
