I booked this B&B through a website expecting a pleasant stay in switzerland. But my experience was horrible. Shared bathroom and kitchen made my life miserable. As I was a tourist, I used to get up early in the morning , take a bath and prepare my breakfast before leaving the room. This annoyed him (although he never asked me not to do so)and he started making abusive comments. On the third day he made some racist comment about Indiands and Pakistani when I left the B&B.

About Walters B&B

Walters Hostel in Interlaken offers excellent cheap accommodation in the Swiss Alps. Affordable bed and breakfast hostel for those who travel Switzerland on a budget.

We have various guestrooms available, private double-rooms, private three bed-rooms and private four bed-rooms.

- Children younger than 12 years old pay 16.50 SFr. if they stay in the same room.

The bathroom and toilet facilities are located adjacent to your room.

On request we will be happy to serve you a traditionel Swiss breakfast.

If you would like us to serve you a continental breakfast in the morning, we will charge you an extra 7SFr. per person.

Walters Hostel is only a seven minute walk from the Interlaken Ost train station.

Once you have gotten off the train at Interlaken Ost, take the street that leads you between the Bank and the Coop shopping centre. Continue straight ahead through 2 roundabouts (traffic circles). You will find us on the right hand side 20 meters after the second roundabout.
