Situated in the Vaud pre-alpine region, the Hotel du Chamois has been run as a family enterprise for 4 generations.

The rooms of this wooden construction are simple but comfortable. The welcome is warm and the cuisine traditional.

The peace, tranquility and beauty of the landscape are in harmony with the vitality of this mountainous region.

Free private parking is available next in the hotel.

Free WiFi Internet is available, and one computer can be used by guests.

Outdoor games for children are available (with security).

A shoeshine machine is available at the hotel as well.

The last renovation of the hotel was done in 2007.

The hotel serves traditional cuisine specializing in fresh trout from vivarium, L'Etivaz cheese dishes, grilled meats, lamb fillets, steak tartar, snails and their freshly prepared butter and home-made desserts. The hotel also provides a buffet breakfast.

All rooms have running water and are simple but comfortable. Toilets and showers are available on the same floor.

Breakfast Buffet is served.

Breakfast and taxes are included in room rates.

Pedestrian roads all around the Hotel-Service RAS.

Reservation can be canceled 3 days before arrival without costs.

Directions

Etivaz is situated half way between the Col des Mosses (mountain pass) and Chateau d' Oex. From the Motorway A9 take the Aigle exit and follow the signposts for Col des Mosses and then Chateau d' Oex. From the Motorway A12 take the Bulle exit and follow signs for Chateau d' Oex and then Col des Mosses.
