Meet Sandra and Beat Stofer-Näpflin, your charming hosts of the Restaurant Landgasthof Balm in Meggen.

A family business for over 150 years, the Balm fuses rustic charm with contemporary comfort and can adapt to the needs of its demanding guests. The hotel is open all year.

At the Dorf Beizli, which in a traditional way unites coziness with a classic country inn ambiance, we pamper our guests with genuine Swiss cuisine and various dishes of the day - warm and cold from 11.30h to 23.00h. Informality and charm permeate this place where we will stand by to answer your culinary desires the whole day through. Enjoy the friendly service and the familiar atmosphere at the Dorf Beizli!

Great wine list. Restaurants closed Monday and Tuesday.

Breakfast is served from 7am to 10am

Whether you stay in one of our regular rooms or rather prefer a Superior room, all rooms feature telephone, fax and Internet access, a built-in safe, TV and radio as well as a reading corner with a sofa. And all our guests will equally enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, the unforgettable panoramic view and our sumptuous breakfast buffet.

Directions

By Car:
From the A2 take the exit to Lucerne city and lake and drive along the lakeside in the direction of the Transport Museum (Verkehrshaus) and Küssnacht am Rigi. We are on the right-hand side of the road.
From the A4 take the exit for Küssnacht am Rigi / Merlischachen / Meggen and continue in the direction of Meggen. The Hotel Balm is on the left.

By Public Transport:
Take Bus No 24 from Lucerne main station to Meggen / Tschädigen / Gottlieben and get off at the 'Balm' stop which is in front of the hotel. It takes about 15 minutes and the ticket can be bought on the bus.
