Compared to other hostels, for me,this hostell rates well.
The staff are attentive , friendly and honest with a laid back attitude.
I have no serious complaints ,all hostels and backpackers have some issues,no hostel is perfect.
The Sukumvit Bangkok Centre is very quiet secure and comfortable unlike some backpackers and hostels I have stayed in.
I will stay here again.
I'm a chef by profession and obviously have a keen interest in food, here the breakfast is inclusive in the daily rate which is great but for me there is some room for improvement.
Some fresh fruit which is" readily available" and some simple Thai style rice dishes for breakfast would be great.
Western style breakfasts are good "occasionally" when travelling
but not every morning.
I love Papaya, pineapple and watermelon particularly on hot humid mornings, would be great to see a my suggestions implemented.

Great location, within 2-3 minutes walk of where the metro and skytrain cross, which gives you a huge range of options wrt getting places. Of course the entire old city (with the main tourist attractions) is still inaccessible by metro/skytrain, but you can get there swiftly anyway by taking a metro or skytrain to the river and taking a boat up the river from there; that's great for getting to chinatown or Wat Pho / Wat Phra Kaew.
For going to the airport, I'd recommend skytraining to Om Nut and then taking a taxi onward from there (cost me 199 baht).
Staff is very friendly, and free American breakfast is quite welcome. The hostel doesn't have a kitchen or laundry facilities like I'm used to from Australia/New Zealand - but eating out in Thailand is really cheap anyway, and laundry can be done cheaply, too. The airconditioning works much better than in your average guesthouse.
