Latest Review for Green Tulip House

Even though this was the most basic hostel we stayed in during our travels it was our absolute favourite mainly because of the incredibly friendly environment. The 2 ladies who ran it (nine and stella) were very accomodating and crazy in a friendly and good way. When we went trecking overnight it was lovely to return to the Green tulip. We ate at the hostel every night because Stella the chef made such tasty and cheap dishes, and there was always a nice vibe.

Nice clean and friendly accommodation. It is a little way from the night bazaar however there are plenty of good (and cheap) eateries near by.
They have plenty of tours available, we didn't do any but other people we met had and there were no complaints from what we heard.
One tour on offer was Doi Soithep temple, but we easily grabbed a Sawngthaews up to the temple for about 40 THB each and then paid 30 THB for entrance. And it is worth going to see.
Rooms - we got a twin with shared bathroom, nice view and a balcony.
Food - we had breakfast included and did also eat dinner there once when it was raining and we were lazy ! the food was good.
Nine and Stella are very welcoming and the eating/chillout area is a good place to chat/meet other people.
