We spent 4 nights at Cliff Cottage and had a good time. The bungalows are about a 7-10 minute walk away from the town but set on the cliffs overlooking the sea or the town depending on which side your bungalow is on. A great place to watch the sun rise or the sun set. Whilst we were there a new restaurant was being built as the previous burnt down. The food is good, however it is a little cheaper in town.

About Cliff Cottage

The way Thailand used to be

Cliff Cottage is a secluded and picturesque resort. The new wooden bar / restaurant is built over the sea in a private cove. There are very few places so picturesque.Its a great place to relax. If you need to be entertained and like the noisy bars then Cliff Cottage is NOT for you.

The bar area and many bungalows offer a great place to relax and watch the sunset.

Close to the Bang Bao pier nicely located for those seeking to travel on to the other islands, take boat trips or try snorkeling and diving.

The only noise comes from the sea and all you can see is nature.

There is no loud music and no crazy parties. .

It is a traditonal Thai beach bungalow style resort.

The bungalows are rustic wooden style and all have a picturesque sea view and double bed The toilets and showers are located centrally

The resort has a private cove with great snorkeling and fishing opportunities.

Customers have free access to DVD's , PS2 & satelite tv. .

No parties, loud music or crazy drinks. Just relax.

When you arive at Bang Bao we are a 10 minute walk away. Signposts are limited due to local restrictions.

It can be tricky to find, just ask a local for directions, when you arrive its worth it.

If ita dark when you arrive please call us and someone will meet you.

Our number is visible on posters next to 7/11 and there is a phone box on 7/11 wall.

We do not provide towels.

OUR KITCHEN CLOSES AT 9PM. SO IF YOUR ARRIVING LATE PLEASE BE SURE TO HAVE EATEN

We spent 4 nights at Cliff Cottage and had a good time. A great place to watch the sun rise or the sun set. Whilst we were there a new restaurant was being built as the previous burnt down. The food is good, however it is a little cheaper in town. If you plan to go into town during the evening make sure you bring a torch as you will need it. You can swim by the bungalows, however if you are wanting a beach there is a lovely beach about a 15 minute walk away. The wooden bungalows themselves are basic but clean. There are toilet blocks scattered amongst the bungalows but depending on your bungalow location you may need a torch for the evening.

When arriving on Koh Chang by ferry take a taxi to the very last stop, Bang Bao 7/11.

If you arrive late or have heavy bags please call for pick up, from Bang Bao. Phone box on 7/11 wal. My number will be emailed to you post booking, also you can see it on posters around Bang bao.

To walk to us is 7 minutes. Walk to the start of the pier, turn right on to a small path. Go around the Remark Puzi, resort keeping left at all times, past the 'Private Land No Entry' sign. Over the bridge then towards the house. Keep going by the water side and you arive at Cliff Cottage.
Sounds more complicated than it really is. Just keep left, close to the water and you find us.
If your confussed ask for Cliff Cottage or our neighbour Nirvana.
