Although Baan Suan guest house was quite a way outside of Lampang, Doug was very kind to take me on a personal tour of the area. In fact I was treated more as a friend than a guest.
The room I had was large and comfortable and overall I had a very pleasant in Lampang.

About Baan Suan Guesthouse
Welcome to Baan Suan for a relaxing guesthouse stay. Located in Mae Mo, 13 kilometres (8 miles) north east of Lampang in the Doi Prabat Mountains.Baan Suan means garden home in Thai. Your friendly hosts have created a relaxing oasis with a waterfall, pond and lush tropical plants through out the garden. Each traditionally decorated guest room has tiled floors, a private bathroom with hot water and air conditioning. All of the rooms overlook the Doi Prabat Mountains and the guesthouse garden. There is no smoking allowed in the rooms. A complimentary breakfast is served in an open pavilion. For the convenience of all guests there is Internet access and a home theatre in the lobby. Laundry service is available for our guests. Hiking trails to the Doi Prabat Mountains and Lampang Volcano start at Baan Suan. There is two golf courses nearby and fishing across the road.
