I stayed there 20 Jan to 26 Jan 2012. The place is clean and so are the rooms and they have no smoking signs on the room doors so my room did not smell. I got a room in the back so I could get away from the street noise and the loud music they play at the bar downstairs until 2am.

About Skytop Guest House
We have 8 room guest house. No time on checkout if no guest incoming on that day. No additional room charge for 'overnight friend' and prices start at only 450 baht per day.
All rooms are fully air-conditioned with the exception of room 101 and all with attached bathroom hot & cold water and equipped with colour T.V., DVD players in large and medium rooms and all rooms have refridgerators.
We have many facilities including, Air Conditioned, Cable TV, Refridgerator, Large Bed
Toilet and Shower, Hot and Cold Water and Security Safe in Room
During Low Season prices are negotiable.
Our hostel is located in a very good area opposite the Tropicana and 100m from the fabulous Soi #6.
All rooms are listed as double rooms though single mattresses can be added free of charge in the larger (more expensive) rooms. All rooms are serviced daily, towels changed daily and bedsheets changed every second day.

I stayed there 20 Jan to 26 Jan 2012. The place is clean and so are the rooms and they have no smoking signs on the room doors so my room did not smell. I got a room in the back so I could get away from the street noise and the loud music they play at the bar downstairs until 2am. The only draw back was the very hard bed which gave me back and neck pains. The help was very friendly and helpful and I would have stay longer if there had been a better bed.
my room was the cheapest room there at 500 baht per night and it was a nice size room and this guest house is right on 2nd road and 100 meters from Soi 6
