Location is only average - not near the beach - although it is in the town area and close to transport to a variety of locations. The room we stayed in was very clean however the attached bathroom smelled badly. We left the window open to air out the room and the staff thought we were wasting the a/c. One staff member walked straight in the room without permission and closed it. After speaking with her she cleaned the bathroom.

As a predominantly Buddhist culture you will find Buddhism cymbals in most every-day lives. Every Buddhist home will have not only a small alter at which to pray, but a Spirit House which protects the home from evil spirits. One of the most charming sights for a Farang (foreigner) is to wake early morning and watch the Monks clad in saffron color robes walk the streets bare foot looking for donations of breakfast.
On top of the architecture and religious aspects of Phuket town you can get a real taste of Thai local life - take a slow walk around the central market and watch the world go by from many of the roadside coffee shops.
Then we have our beautiful beaches, amongst the best in the world. From the tourist hot spot of Patong Beach to the more remote and less trodden beaches of Cape Panwa - All within easy reach as the central bus terminal is only 2 minutes walk from our property - fares start from only Bht 25 (54 US cents).

For Private en-suite we have both the fan type and aircon type depend on the price in your booking.

Amentments and cancel to original booking must be make directly to hostel at least 72 hours(3 days) before your arrival date .Failure to do so will result in your credit card be charged for the WHOLE amount.

One staff member walked straight in the room without permission and closed it. After speaking with her she cleaned the bathroom. For some reason you can't get a/c rooms through Travellerspoint and Hostelworld at this guesthouse. But all types of rooms including dorms are overpriced given the location and type of accomodation. Facilities are good. There is a large screen TV in a lounge area with a large variety of DVD's to choose from. The TV's in the double rooms only show Thai TV - no english - and they charge 20 baht rental to take a DVD to your room. Service was average. Some staff were pleasant. Others were not so pleasant. The staff was noisy late at night and early in the morning. Overall the hostel was generally clean and comfortable but it is overpriced.
The staff was extremely helpful with setting up our tours and giving us advise. Rooms were great and good value for the price.

HOW TO GET HERE ?
FROM THE PHUKET INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
OPTION # 1
The most cost effective way is to hop on the Airport bus. Please note
that this bus departs from the DEPARTURE floor. The fare will be Bht
85.00.
On arrival at the Phuket central bus terminal we are only 10 mins walk
away or alternatively you could opt to jump on local bus # 1 ( green &
yellow colour which will cost you Bht 10.00... Then simply alight at
the Thai Airways central town office ( Tell the bus driver "(KARN BIIN
THAI NAI TA - LARRD -SOT)"( in Thai ) - we are green building directly
opposite !
OPTION # 2
You could hop for a limousine transfer both shared and private - this is
expensive and in our opinion not worth the price. Furthermore as the
driver is on commission from the shops etc, he will endeavor to sell you products and
services on- route - so be prepared to be seriously hassled ( sometimes very frustratingly so ) please be firm but not rude.!
