Star Holiday Hotel

Photos Facilities Map Streetview Reviews

Star Holiday Hotel is an unbeatable place to stay, for its location, price and the friendly welcome of the staff !

The hotel has been fully renovated (April 2014) : the rooms, terrace, loby, furnitures and also now, there is a lift !

Enjoying an excellent location in the very heart of touristic place and the

old city area, called Sultanahmet, the Star Holiday Hotel 3 star hotel,

faces both the famous and inspired, Sultanahmet Blue Mosque and Haghia

Sophia (Santa Sofia) museum.

Situated in the centre of Sultanahmet, our hotel is also just a stone’s

throw from Topkapi Palace and the fabulous Basilica Cistern - with the Grand

Bazaar being no more than 10′ minutes stroll away.

Offering very affordable room rates, our hotel really does provide value for

money. Not only is its situation one of the best in the area, the Star Holiday also offers guests simply decorated and clean accommodation, a

roof-top breakfast room overlooking the Marmara Sea and the Sultanahmet Blue Mosque, and the chance to enjoy a refreshing drink in the hotel’s 1st-floor bar.

Our 34 Standard rooms, including 3 connected rooms for larger families, are

all equipped with private bathrooms, air-conditioning and heating system, a

direct-dial telephone, free wireless internet access, LCD screen TV with all

languages available and refrigerator, hairdryers.

The Star Holiday Hotel allows guest to truly enjoy the very spirit of Sultanahmet, Istanbul without having to delve too deeply into their pockets!

This is the most awfullest hotel I ever stayed.
The room was very small and the bed was so hard. It felt like a laying on wooden plank.
I had a room with shared bathroom but the bathroom was so bad. The shower and toilet were so close to each other and it was also not so clean. I had the impressure that it was cleaned once in two days while there are many guests on the hotel.
The room was very hot and it didn't had airconditining or a fin and that isn't what the website says. The hotel is very noisy and good for a bad sleep.

The location is good. It is very close to the blue mosk, aya sophia and Topkapi palace.

If you are looking for a cosy little place right in the heart of the main part of the city then this is the place to book. All the main places in Sulatnhamet are at a stones throw from this hotel. The surrounding area is simply beautiful with Aya Sophia & Blue Mosque & other buildings & monuments.
The terrace resturant offers great view outside. I did not use the resturant so cannot comment on food. There are a lot many cosy and good resturants around the hotel.
They offer airport pick & drop at resonable rates as well.
Overall, a nice & cosy place for budget travels.
