price: 40 YTL for 2 simple beds room, which corresponds to approx. 23 Euros
Poor breakfast, according to what they claim,
Didn´t see any mosquito net in any room and bedroom were smelling like urine near bathroom.
They asked for 2 YTL just for warming up the milk, on breakfast!!!!
Moreover, we were looking for a pension that let us keep the luggage and take a shower at the end of the following day.... more

My little, simply furnished 18-room-pension is because of modest prices especially attractive for backpackers. The pension is located in quiet surroundings. It is next to the antique greek amphitheatre. However, it is only a five minute walk to the city centre and Kas harbour. There are various shopping opportunities and restaurants near the pension.
Kas is also a part of the route of 'Lycian Way' , a 500 kilometre waymarked footpath around the coast of Lycia.
By the way: HILAL means - crescent
We have a friendly and familiar atmosphere. All rooms are with shower, toilet and balcony and some some rooms have AC. All beds with mosquito-net.
Hilal Pension offer Turkish breakfast to our guests and dinner (if you like on the terrace). If you prefer to cook for yourself you can do that as we have kitchen facilities as well.

Moreover, we were looking for a pension that let us keep the luggage and take a shower at the end of the following day. He said it was no problem and we could keep the luggage there after check-out and take a shower at the end of the day in the terrace. After paying the room at check-out, the owner simply said that we could keep the luggage their but we couldn´t take any shower!!!
There are manny pensions in Kas, my suggestion is to avoid this one, they just don't have basic respect to tourists (didn't have with us).

Kas lies at the Turkish coast of the Mediterranean or - to say exactly - at the Lykish coast.
If you want to go to Kas by airplane you can get a resevation for the airports Antalya or Dalaman. The route from Antalya to Kas is more favourable, the distance is a bit longer, but the road is fitted out much better. If you go by car it will take you about 3 hours because of the lots of bends on the way that partly runs along the coast. The road runs through Kemer, Kumluca, Finike, Kale to Kas (would like to fetch you with my car or in my minibus (groups) from Antalya or Dalaman but you have to arrange things with me before and pay a special price. You can also take a Dolmus (a low-priced minibus as a line-taxi), of course, but in that case it will take you about 5 hours.
