Fantastic!!!

I stayed at the Stella in june 2009. I have never had better accomodation for anything like this price! as you arrive at the hotel you might get a sinking feeling, the streets that approach it are pretty run down, Don't be put off, the hotel itself is not. Once inside you find yourself in a modern and well appointed Hotel.

About Stella Travelers Inn

Internet Access 24 hour reception

Stella Travellers Inn is the premier hostel in Kusadasi, Turkey. It is under new management for the 2004 season and the services provided by our international team are second to none. We are all hostel professionals and take great pride in making your stay with us as memorable as possible.

The hostel, until 3 years ago, was operating as a 2* Hotel. Apart from some refurbishment, the changes made all involve 'The Fun Factor' and I'm sure you'll agree, we've hit the nail right on the head. The pool and sundeck has a bar that operates everyday as well as hosting the nightly BBQ. Priced, of course, with the backpacker in mind.

All rooms are ensuite with excellent facilities and amazing views. Each room, whether it be a double, twin, triple or a 6 bed dorm has it's own seaward balcony which overlooks the pool area, the harbour and the beautiful Aegean.

We are right in the town centre, about 300 metres from the famous 'Bar Street', 100 metres from the harbour, 5 minutes walk from beautiful Ladies Beach and 2 minutes from Pigeon Island.

Kuþadasi is perfectly situated to do some local explorýng of ancient and wonderful sites. Ephesus and Holy Mary's House is a mere 20 minutes up the road to the north and Priene, Miletus and Didyma to the south. There's awesome beaches all around and the beautiful Dilek National Park at Güzelçamli only 25 minutes away. Why not jump on a ferry and have a look at the famous Greek Island of Samos? It takes an hour and a half to get to and also leads to the rest of the amazing Greek Islands.

Other activities available include daily boat cruises, excellent diving, snorkeling, water skiing, trekking tours, paragliding, jeep safaris, horse safaris, open air markets, outdoor activites and the three leading aqua parks in Turkey, which are the biggest ones in Europe!

Free pick up service from the Harbour and Bus stations - Please catch a taxi to the hostel and Lucky will pay your taxi fare.

(If this hotel was 1 Street nearer the sea the price would be triple) The staff are all family, and it has a homely atmosphere they seem to have most languages covered between them, There is a lovely pool and sun terrace wich has unbeatable views over most of the city and the harbour. As a solo traveller wanting a single room i'm quite used to being put in the broom cupboard. None of that nonsense my room was large clean and had its own shower room. (it all looked new to me!) a full window wall overlooked the sea and led on to the balcony.(all rooms in this hotel are on the same side so they all have this view )The staff were very helpful they can arrange most things for you, Boat trips, turkish baths, all that kind of thing. Breakfast is included and is the usual Mediteranean Fare of cheese, honey, fresh friut, bread, and a boiled egg with tea or coffee and juice. all a bit too healthy for my taste, so i'd have the egg and a cup of tea, then down the back stairs to the street below (seafront)wich has loads of restaurants and cafes offering every kind of food you can think of! and really cheap!

I've given 5 stars all across, the only down side was the hill, but as i said if the location was any better it would be an expensive hotel, and if you use the back way its a lot of stairs but its easier than the hill and it puts you right on the seafront, I loved it and would definately go back there.
