About Cabot Shores, 4 Star Adventure Resort on the Cabot

Internet Access Breakfast Included 24 hour reception

Between the Gulf of the Saint Lawrence and the Atlantic Ocean, on the world famous Cabot Trail, Cabot Shores - Adventure Resort is the place to explore Cape Breton's marvels.......

The Resort offers a combination of 4 star accommodations (Chalets and Lodge Rooms), alternative shelters (Yurts, Tipis and Wigwams) and adventure and retreat programs.

Nestled amongst the trees and well spaced for privacy, our chalets accommodate 2 to 8 people. They have a living room, a kitchen and a dining room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A porch opens onto sweeping views of the Atlantic. The kitchen is fully equipped (fridge, stove, utensils) and each unit has ceiling fans, electric heat, and a TV and DVD/VCR. Laundry facilities and Barbecues are available on premise.

Our main lodge combines comfortable bedrooms and suites with private bathrooms with warm and welcoming common areas. Enjoy our restaurant's delicious organic menu while attending a concert or evening entertainment in the Main Hall, or simply relax on one of our decks, reading a good book while keeping an eye on the beach and the ocean in case an eagle would decide to show up...

If you feel a bit more adventurous, stay in one of our wigwams or yurts to enjoy fully the beauty of Cape Breton's natural marvels. Wake up at the sound of birds or spot a moose from your yurt's deck...

You can also participate to our adventures on a daily basis, canoeing up the Indian Brook, sailing to the Bird Islands, or fishing with one of our local guides.

There is something to do for everybody at Cabot Shores, so come enjoy a unique stay in Cape Breton #1 Adventure Resort!

Directions

By Car from Halifax Airport
Take Provincial Highway 102 in direction of Truro. Follow it for 45 miles until Truro. Then take the Trans Canada 104 east for 100 miles in direction of Antigonish-Cape Breton. After the Canso Causeway, go north on PH105 towards Baddeck. About 20 miles after Baddeck, take exit 11 and follow the Cabot Trail (north) for about 25 miles until you reach Indian Brook. Cabot Shores' entrance is on your right after the bridge and the fire station. You shorten the last part of the trip by taking the exit 12 to the Englishtown Ferry and then follow the Cabot trail from the other side of the bay. (Count $5 for the ferry)

By Car from Sydney
Take PH125 in direction of Sidney Mines until you reach the PH105. Go West on PH105 in direction of Baddeck. Take the exit 12 to the Englishtown Ferry and follow the Cabot trail north, from the other side of the bay for about 15 minutes. You can also take the Cabot Trail a bit further, from the exit 11 (it makes the trip slightly longer but offers beautiful view of Saint Ann's bay).
