We booked this thinking it would be a hostel but it isn't, its a motel. Which is fine I guess. The room was clean and fresh. The only problem with the room was that when my girlfriend tried to use the bath the water would not stay in! It kept draining out much to her frustration!
Wi-fi was available for free, which is always useful, the location was good just 10 mins drive from LAX (don't forget the ear plugs though as its right under the flight path!).

We have 2 locations in Los Angeles. This is our LAX airport location and close to the beaches
Tours arranged at front Desk include: Disneyland,Knotts Berry Farm, Hollywood, Beverly Hills..we have discount tickets at the front desk. Tours pick you up at our door (no need for gas and parking!!) and take you there for less then you would pay with discount tickets elsewhere. ! Save Save stay with US! **. All of our private rooms have been refurbished with new beds, furniture and televisions. Our dorm rooms are split for males and females, we offer 24 hour check in, private electronic keys for all guests; no curfews, no lock outs. Extra Bed can be requested at check in for 10.00 US dollars per night. All private rooms have fridge and microwave, television with hbo and cable.
The AAE LAX Econo offers you a choice to have deluxe private large rooms that sleep up to 5, yet offer prices lower then standard hostels. Breakfast was the most disappointing bit - watered-down juice, nasty coffee with powdered milk and only bread/toast to eat - no spreads for it and no cereal or fruit!
So, overall fine for a stop-gap for a night but don't expect the Hilton!
