The location of this Hostel is amazing.
I loved the fact that you provied dinners in the evening for a small fee and organise small tours.
The thing that lets the hostel down in the internet facilities. It steels you monry, you run down to get more and lose the original dollor you put in. I lost about $6 during my stay there and sow several others lose money too.
I was in a girls only dorm and on my own for one evening.

And, if you just want to relax, then hang out in the hostel itself. Comfortable common areas, a full kitchen, courtyard, free WIFI, TV room - there are plenty of spaces to meet other travelers and enjoy the laid back lifestyle that is Southern California. Here, you don't need to send a postcard back home, just send a picture!

I was in a girls only dorm and on my own for one evening. There was a bag left in the room and male staff member came in to get it around midnight, which was fine. Tthen he came back again. It was for a geniune reason, but kind of creepy around midnight.
I'd come back again.

Hostel guests may stay for 14 consecutive nights or an accumulative total of 14 nights during each calendar year. At the end of the 14 nights guests may not return until the following calendar year. We are 2 blocks from the beach and Santa Monica Pier. From LAX Airport: Shuttles available outside luggage claim.
From Amtrack Station: Take MTA bus #33 from Los Angeles and Arcadia Streets to 2nd and Broadway in Santa Monica, walk 1/2 block north to hostel.
From Greyhound Bus Station: Take MTA bus #60 west to 7th and Spring Streets, transfer to bus #33 and take to 2nd and Broadway in Santa Monica.
