About Red Deer Lodge & Campground

This is truly a place to get away from city life. The area is semi-wilderness, but highly accessible, on a quiet secondary highway.

Our waterfront log cabins are clean and cosy. All are fully equipped with kitchens and good double beds.

We do not provide televisions or radios in the cabins, as we encourage you to listen to nature's music. Birdsong, peeping frogs and cicadas on the hot days provide a symphony of sound to experience.

We don't have swings and slides. Instead there are trees to climb, a safe beach, a lake in the hills to hike to for speckled trout or a picnic.

This is an area of many lakes, so there are many different fish habitats to explore. Wildlife viewing opportunities are better in the spring and autumn, as is the fishing.

PLEASE NOTE: The double room is actually a self contained log cabin on a waterfront with a picnic table and firepit of its own.
