Stayed for four days. Two blocks from union sq. Right in center of downtown. The service was great. Location is amazing and the Hotel is quaint. We had an ensuite room, but for a couple with bags İ would reccomend the extra $10.00 and go for a double twin as doubles are smallish.
İ will definitely stay again. Better than major hotel chains and the price is so affordable.
This place is a travellers treasure.

We only stayed one night but the hostel was pretty good. Nice hostel, kitchen and breakfast were lovely.
The main surprise was the bedroom. Indeed, we made a reservation for 2 beds in a "4beds room - girls exclusively" and there were only 2 big beds...
Location: perfect - very close to Union square.

Does what it says on the tin.
This is dirt cheap accommodation in a major city. Compromises are inevitable. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm and had an excellent night's sleep. Whether the other five slept at all is open to debate.
The included breakfast is excellent. The staff are friendly. Some of the guests are a little strange and over-friendly but really, you're getting dirt cheap accommodation. Also some of those guests are teenage Scandinavian girls so it's not all bad. Compromises must be accepted. I recommend this place because of the location and decent breakfast.
And the teenage Scandinavian girls.
