HOW TO GET TO THE PARK HOTEL UNION SQUARE

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)
BART is the Bay Area's local train system. It services the entire Bay Area as well as both the San Francisco International Airport and Oakland Airport. Trains run from 5am – 12 midnight. Service does vary – please check the schedule if you have early or late flights. The cost is approximately $5.00 per person each way. Click here
The hotel is located 3 blocks from the Montgomery Street or Powell Street stations. Travel time is 30 minutes.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE

San Francisco International Aiport
Airport Shuttles run 24 hours a day, no advance reservations required, from the upstairs main terminal level of SFO. The shuttle will cost $15 per person and they will bring you to the front door of the Park Hotel.

There are 5 different companies, and all will bring you direct to our hotel, although the most popular services are SUPER SHUTTLE & LORRIES SHUTTLE.

We recommend Lorrie's Shuttle Service. Return reservations to SFO can be made at our tour desk. Reservations are not required, and pre-paid tickets are valid for any day. For convenient SFO Airport Shuttle you can book online here.
Oakland International Airport
Airport Shuttles Bay Porter 510.864.4000 or Bay Shuttle 415.564.3400 - cost about $41 for two persons ($25 for one person), advanced reservations are required.

TAXI
Taxis from either airport cost approximately $45-$60.

FROM GREYHOUND (bus station)
Exit from Greyhound's Transbay Terminal in downtown San Francisco, and start going Southwest on Mission Street towards First Street. Turn right onto First Street and cross to the other side of Market Street. Turn left on Market Street and continue going Southwest on Market Street until you make a slight right onto Sutter Street. (Its easy to miss Sutter Street because there's only one street sign for it - there's a See's Candy store on the corner. The Park Hotel is 3 blocks down on the left.

FROM AMTRAK DOWNTOWN/SF SHOPPING CENTER STOP
Walk 3 blocks up Stock Street and turn right on Sutter Street. The Park Hotel is ½ block down on the right.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE PARK HOTEL

From the South (San Francisco International Airport):
• Travel Hwy 101 North
• Take 280 towards downtown San Francisco
• Take the 3rd Street Downtown exit (280 ends and turns into King Street)
• Turn left at 3rd Street
• Go approximately 8 blocks and cross Market Street
• 3rd Street turns into Kearny Street; stay in left lane
• Go about 3 blocks to Sutter Street; turn left
• The Park Hotel is located two blocks up on the left side of Sutter Street just after Grant Avenue at 325 Sutter Street.

From the East, (Oakland Airport, Berkeley, Bay Bridge):
• Take the Fremont Street exit (first exit on the right side after crossing the Bay Bridge)
• Go 2 blocks and cross Market Street
• Fremont Street becomes Front Street.
• Go a half block and turn left onto Pine Street.
• Go approximately 3 blocks on Pine Street
• Turn left onto Montgomery Street
• Go 2 blocks; turn right on Sutter Street
• Go about 3 blocks to Sutter Street; turn left
• The Park Hotel is located two blocks up on the left side of Sutter Street just after Grant Avenue at 325 Sutter Street.

From the North (Marin, Wine Country, Golden Gate Bridge):
• Take Hwy 101 South
• Cross the Golden Gate Bridge
• Take the Lombard Street exit
• Follow Lombard approximately 1 mile
• Turn right onto Van Ness Avenue
• Go approximately 15 blocks on Van Ness (which is still Highway 101)
• Turn left on Bush Street
• Go approximately 10 blocks on Bush Street; turn right on Grant Avenue
• Turn right on Sutter Street; The Park Hotel is located on the left side of Sutter Street at 325 Sutter Street.

CONVENIENT MODERATELY PRICED NEIGHBORHOOD PARKING
• Sutter Stockton Garage, 330 Sutter Street (t) 982-8370 (located across the street from the Park Hotel) approximately $2/hr but only $6 flat fee after 6pm. Click here for rates.
• 450 Sutter Garage (located 1 block west of the Park Hotel) approximately $24/day
*It is also possible to park outside of the Union Square area for as little $8/day and take public transportation back to the Hotel.

• PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION (BART): From the island in the middle of the roadway outside the terminal catch an AIRBART shuttle ($4 per person) to the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit (ie: subway)) Station. Take a San Francisco / Daly City, Colma or SFO train and exit at POWELL STREET ($5.50 per person).
Exit via the POWELL STREET EXIT and the POWELL STREET STATION, follow Powell Street (North - uphill), to O'FARRELL STREET (2 blocks). Turn LEFT on O'FARRELL and proceed one full block to MASON STREET, turn RIGHT. The hotel is a half a block up on your left.
On weekends, holidays and during certain off-peak hours there is no direct service from Oakland to San Francisco. Public Service announcements will inform you of the proper trains to take in order to transfer to a San Francisco train.
