The hotel provided pretty much everything I needed for central location and security. I would have appreciated more flexibility regarding late checkouts during what was a fairly slow period, and some parking facilities would have been welcome.

The Union Square Plaza Hotel is located in the heart of downtown San Francisco. This comfortable hotel is located just off Union Square, one of the cities most elegant shopping areas.
Guest can choose between with a double, queen or pair of twin beds. Each of these rooms has a private bathroom all of which have been recently redecorated.
The hotel provides modern amenities in each room including a colour TV, international direct phone lines, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, data port and WI-FI. The hotel is kept in pristine condition and a daily maid service is provided every morning.
San Francisco's business and shopping centres are within walking distance. Guests are spoilt in their choice of nightlife, theatres and restaurants, some of which are open 24 hours. The hotel is only 3 blocks from Chinatown. The Powell Street Cable Car is only a half block away for those exploring the greater bay areas such as the North Beach, Fisherman's Wharf and the Bay itself.
