Hello,
My name is Anand. I am from India. I stayed in this DUC vuong hotel 2 night. Staff support is very good. Facilities also very nice. Location is not too good because of heavy traffic but inside hotel no problem. Room cleanness is good. Food also better and All facilities are available which they write inside website onlne.

It was OK but if you're into spacey rooms than you'd better go somewhere else. While it is located in the most touristy area with B&B and budget hotels everywhere, it is actually quite far from most HCMC attractions. If you're a budget traveller, you'd better stay somewhere else because this place is surrounded with over-priced restaurants and cafes. Some of my friends who did a walk-in check-in managed to get a much better room, not to mention cheaper just within the vicinity. I've met much friendlier staff at many hotels before so they don't really deserve my credit in anyway. SOme of them can get too playful than neccessary that there was one time when I had to wait like half-hour because the girl at the counter flirt-talked with a customer like some kind of mistress. You might want to stay at Duc Vuong Hotel if you've got no other places to stay (but believe me, there are plenty). I would definitely never want to come back again.

The staff of this hotel are extremely friendly and willing to please. They made us feel welcome from the moment we entered the hotel to the moment we left. We used this hotel as our base between travels around Vietnam and were always happy to come back.
The rooms were always clean and tidy. We found the rooms a little small for all our luggage, but made do.
The water pressure varied between rooms, some more than others, but water was always available. It took a little while for hot water to get to some of the rooms we stayed in. There were no problems with the plumbing.
There were plenty of electrical outlets accepting the round or straight 2 pin 220V connectors. One room actually had a power point on the side wall of the shower. For what purpose I cannot fathom. I thought it a bit dangerous as the spray from the shower could easily wet it.
The wifi internet connection was a bit flaky to start with, but was fixed a few days later. Apparently there were some problems with the newly installed hardware. Wifi speed was a bit on the slow side, but the speed on the PCs in the computer lounge was quite good.
The food was very good. Breakfast was a buffet style with lots of fruit, bread, jam, and warm dishes such as fried rice, string beans, meatballs, bacon, eggs and a few Vietnamese dishes I wouldn't know the name of. All very tasty indeed. Dinner was a taste of Vietnam and FREE every night as long as you put your name down before 5pm (for a 7pm dinner). You only had to pay for your drinks (very reasonable prices). The ice was fine, we did not get sick from it at all (12 in our group). There were plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area to vary the dining experience. We stuck to the more popular venues and were rewarded with great tasting food and no sickness.
The rooms do not have a particularly interesting view, just the roof tops of lower buildings and the city skyline depending on how high up you were. We were on the top level most times.
There is also a Travel Agency on the ground floor which provides tours around the place for very competitive prices, much cheaper than if you booked in Australia. We heard of people paying up to 10x less by booking at the agency rather than back in Australia.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a pleasant stay that won't break the bank.

I've not traveled OS much so have nothing except Australian hotel rooms to compare it to. The quality of the rooms is good, but they are very small and possibly more expensive than you can find elsewhere. There is a running theme of "We are a family" to the hotel including free breakfasts and evening meals. This makes it very welcoming after a day out.
Location is in the middle of the backpackers district and an easy walk to some parks and shops.
I was there with my wife and 13 y.o. daughter and wasn't ever concerned for their safety within the hotel.

This hotel is a little gem in a great location and very clean and tidy, the free family style meals are ok but get stuck in quick before it goes cold (we were sat by a great big fan). All in all a great stay.
