About Savanna Backpackers Lodge

Savanna Backpackers Lodge is situated at 68 Courtney Selous Crescent in Victoria Falls town, only 3km from one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls, and of course the mighty Zambezi River. The lodge is 10 minutes walk from the Vic Falls town and the Victoria Falls themselves are another 10 minutes walk from the town.

Guests can relax by the pool or at the Bar, whilst enjoying music or the natural sounds of Africa. There is a small restaurant on site, with digital TV so you can catch up with the news. There is also an internet cafe with wireless for the traveller with a laptop.

Accommodation Information

Savanna has 42 beds in 15 rooms, so the option is twin, double or dormitory type accommodation. The dormitories have 3, 4 and 6 sleepers. All rooms use shared ablutions and are small, clean, basic and air conditioned.

Location Information

From the Victoria Falls Airport, proceed directly into Victoria Falls on the only main road access, at the Sprayview Hotel, turn left into Reynard road, then the first right into West Drive, second left into Courtney Selous Crescent and it is the 3rd property on the left hand side, clearly marked.

If coming from the train station, go up the hill past the shopping centre along the main road, take a right at the Wimpey and then follow this road until you get to the second road turning off to the left, this is West Drive, then follow this up the hill and then take the third right hand turn into Courtney Selous Crescent, and the lodge is the third property on the left, being clearly marked.

Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 Days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the full cost of the reservation. Deposits paid are non refundable.
